Why a portrait
They will never be exactly this age again.
Children change faster than you can keep up with. The dimple in a cheek, the way they look at you, that one crooked little smile – before you know it, it has changed, and something new has taken its place.
Of course you take photos yourself. Hundreds of them. But most of them stay on your phone, somewhere between screenshots and shopping lists, and are rarely looked at again.
At Sunday Portrait I make portraits that are meant to be looked at. To be printed, hung on the wall and kept. An image of who your child is right now – for you today, and for them later.

An appointment on a Sunday
You get in touch and together we choose a Sunday that suits you. One fixed photography day a week – so there is never any rush.

Getting to know each other
We start without the camera. Your child can look around, play and get used to the space – and to me.

Photographing at your child's pace
I follow what your child does, rather than the other way around. Sometimes it takes a while before that look appears. That is perfectly fine.

Choosing your favourite photo
After the session you get access to an online gallery. There you can calmly choose the photos you love most.

Careful editing
I edit every chosen photo with attention to light, skin tones and detail. Understated and timeless, ready within about two weeks.

Optionally, a beautiful print
Would you like the portrait on your wall? Order a print on matte photo paper, made by a professional photo lab.

In the studio or in your own surroundings
On location
Prefer outdoors, in the woods or simply at home? Then I'll come to you, within about 30 kilometres of Boxmeer – in the Land van Cuijk and around places such as Cuijk, Gennep, Venray and Uden. Not sure whether your location is within range? Just ask.
